Business leaders are not born to be but trained to be leaders. As a premier higher education provider Raffles International College sponsored a career talk ¡§Step to Success¡¨ Seminar organized by Jiu Jik, a famous local magazine on 2nd Aug 2008 in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
During the seminar a number of honourable guests included Ms Hung Hiu Wan,Deputy Director of Communications Department of Langham Hotels International, Mr Hong Ming San, Assistant General Manager of Sony Computer Entertainment HK Ltd, Dr Ngan Lai Chun, Corporate Human Resources Director, Giordano International Co Ltd, Mr Chan Ping, Secretary General of NT Realty Wofoo Tai Po Football Club and Ms Cheung Wai Man, Managing Director of COREsearch Ltd shared their successful stories with all of the audience. They discussed and argued with each other on how the youth can succeed.
When Ms Hung pointed out lots on Interview Techniques and how to tackle with the interview questions in the first session, in the second session the rest of the honorable guests discussed and argued with each other on how the youth can succeed.
All of the guests pointed out that learning is essential to success. An employer would hire an employee based on his / her appearance, experience as well as academic qualifications.
